Welcome to the Prince George's County Chapter
Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.

On behalf of the members of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., Prince George’s County Chapter (PGCCTLOD), I am humbly honored to welcome you to our official chapter website.
I am proud to serve alongside and lead this distinguished group of women, who are committed and dedicated to uplifting our community through impactful programming and leadership advocacy. Our chapter was chartered on August 30, 2009.
We are proudly committed to community service through impactful and purposeful engagement. Our efforts include empowering youth through the Top Teens of America program, enriching the lives of senior citizens with meaningful activities and lasting relationships, advancing the status of women through inspiring programs and events, preserving our environment through community beautification, and fostering strong community partnerships through collaborative initiatives and sponsorships.
Our chapter is part of a national organization with a rich legacy of service, founded in Tyler, Texas, on September 8, 1964, by eight remarkable founders. We stand on their shoulders as we continue that legacy by fostering excellence, embracing collaboration, and uplifting and inspiring change in our community.
Whether you are a community partner, prospective member, interested Teen, or simply an interested guest, we invite you to explore our website to learn more about our mission, programs, and ongoing initiatives. We welcome your support as we continue to lead with Character, Commitment, and Consistency as we are “On the Road to Make a Difference.”
History
Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. – Prince George’s County Chapter was chartered August 30, 2009 as the vision of Jaqueline L.Wilcher. Along with 21 other women, Lady Jackie organized Prince George’s County Chapter under the guidance of Lady Jackie Pope, TLOD National President and Lady Deloris Chriss, National Area II Director. Prince George’s County Chapter was fortunate to charter a Top Teens of America (TTA) chapter on the very same day - three young men and 14 young ladies answered the call. TTA is a youth development organization for youth ages 13 - 18 whose mission is to educate, shape and develop young leaders of tomorrow.
The Prince George’s County Chapter of both Top Ladies of Distinction and Top Teens of America is an award-winning chapter who focuses on community engagement and allows every member to use their unique experiences and backgrounds together to spark solutions that help to create a better world and to prevent human suffering by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. In the words of Dr. King “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is "What are you doing for others?”
